Concierge GH 3.0

This launch is long overdue, but it is finally here: Concierge 3.0, as promised.

This is not just a UI make-over. But a complete rewrite of the core system and code, to not just provide a better, quicker experience but to establish a foundation for more wonderful features to come. And guess what? We changed the logo, too.

What's New?

Yes, we did change the logo. We wanted to come up with something that truly reflects our vision and what we bring to the table (pun intended). And what do we bring to the table, one may ask?

  • We bring a plan, an actual plan. We are like that girlfriend who actually knows what to eat and can figure out something great when you say, “Just choose something 😉.” We bring a plan for your special date, anniversary date, or night out, or maybe you just want to grab some food.

  • Inclusivity in Accra’s restaurant and dining scene: That high-end or ‘expensive’ restaurant you usually avoid might not be as out of reach as you think. With our plans, you may find an option that perfectly fits your budget.

A new design

In our initial design, we prioritized functionality over experience. Our goal was to deliver Concierge to you quickly, but in doing so, we compromised on important aspects that truly matter. Not anymore. We’re introducing a completely new design that makes navigating and selecting restaurants more seamless and enjoyable.

We are also providing a more concise experience than before. Initially we provided you an endless list of meal combinations within your budget. After careful thinking and learning, we realized that only introduces a new problem of choice. Sometimes fewer is better. Having fewer, well-curated options can lead to greater satisfaction than having an overwhelming abundance (Schwartz, 2004).

A new engine

Concierge 3.0 is a complete rewrite of our backend systems. We’ve enhanced the platform’s speed to keep up with the growing number of restaurants and built a solid foundation to support the exciting new features we’ll be rolling out in the future. Stick around—there’s more to come.

New restaurants

We’re constantly updating our database to bring you the widest possible selection of restaurants across Accra.

Our blog is moving
